Responsibilities

• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in planning and implementing instructional activities tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students with special needs. Provide one-on-one support and encouragement to students during lessons and activities.
• Student Engagement: Engage students in interactive and creative learning experiences, including games, arts and crafts, and sensory activities. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and included.
• Behavioral Support: Help manage student behavior and promote positive social interactions in the classroom. Implement strategies and interventions to support students in developing appropriate social skills and self-regulation techniques.

• Resource Development: Assist in the creation and organization of educational materials and resources, including visual aids, worksheets, and sensory tools. Help adapt materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

Who You Are

• Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with individuals with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
• Basic knowledge of special education principles and practices preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow directions from supervising teachers.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
